What Unique and Amazing Contribution Can You Bring to the World?
I could totally write this post using AI, but as a word lover and freelance writer for a few years now, I genuinely believe we can create better than a computer. Don’t get me wrong — I did use some tech to polish this up — but writing is my unique and amazing contribution to the world.
Writing as Therapy
For me, writing is therapeutic. It relaxes me and transforms my thoughts and ideas into something real. My passion for technology and business makes this blog more than just a way to earn a little cash; it’s a platform for me to express myself and empower moms and women to explore their skills, knowledge, and ideas. I want all of you to shine, start your own ventures, feel useful, and unleash your unique potential into the world.
Let’s Discover Your Superpower
Let’s figure out what your unique skill is — your superpower — and how you can share it with the world through a blog and faceless social media, turning it into personal fulfillment, motivation, empowerment, and, eventually, profit.
The Real Me Behind the Blog
This isn’t my first blog, but it’s the first one where I’m sharing my truth as a mom, a Christian, a woman, and an entrepreneur. I’m not here to sell you a perfect or fake idea of who I am. I believe in honesty, faith, transformation, and education as essential values.
This is my first post, and it took a few days to write, squeezed in between naps, diaper changes, and the sweet giggles of my 5-month-old baby. What matters is that it’s done, even if it’s not perfect!
Creating Valuable Content
In this post, I’m here to help you if you want to start a blog to generate passive income, extra cash, or maybe even your main source of income. The goal is not to add to the pile of mediocre content on the Internet but to create valuable content that aligns with your principles and values, all in your authentic voice.
In a time filled with AI, ghostwriters, and PLR content, being yourself can be a powerful way to stand out in the crowd. To kick things off, let’s answer some simple questions and reflect on them. Take your time with this if you can. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, and ideally, a notebook (writing by hand is often more effective than typing), or open a notes app on your phone and think about yourself.
Questions for Reflection
1. What do you need/love/know how to do?
This is all about what you do well, what makes you feel good, what you enjoy doing in your free time, and what you do every day. There’s no limit to this list as long as it’s genuinely about you. Everyday skills like cooking, managing a home, parenting, reading, crocheting, painting, makeup, traveling, using social media, binge-watching shows, skating, exercising, digital business, tech, learning languages... anything can be a topic where you have plenty to say and teach someone. Don’t hold back — this is brainstorming time! Let that list grow!
2. What’s your biggest challenge right now?
What’s holding you back? What’s a resistance you need to overcome? A challenge doesn’t have to be epic; it can just be something that complicates your daily routine. For me, navigating motherhood is still my biggest challenge, along with struggling to wake up early and dealing with procrastination.
3. What can you teach others?
Now it’s time to look at your first list and see which activity you’re so good at that you can teach to help others. Think about the things that come easily to you, the skills you’ve honed over the years, and the knowledge you’ve gained through experience. Maybe you’re a whiz in the kitchen, whipping up meals that make everyone ask for seconds, or perhaps you have a knack for organizing chaos into a beautifully structured routine. Whatever it is, there’s someone out there who could benefit from your expertise.
Teaching doesn’t have to be formal. It can be as simple as sharing tips on how to juggle work and family life, or offering advice on how to navigate the challenges of parenting. Reflect on your experiences — the lessons learned, the mistakes made, and the triumphs achieved. These stories can resonate with others who are facing similar challenges. Remember, your unique perspective is valuable. By sharing what you know, you’re not just teaching; you’re building a community of support and inspiration. So, take a moment to identify that special skill or insight you possess and think about how you can share it with the world.
4. How much time can you dedicate to your blog?
Compare what you can do and share on a blog with your challenges. Can you juggle both and still succeed? Having a little one like I do is a big challenge, and creating a blog is already a huge accomplishment. I use my little bits of free time between naps to share knowledge. This way, I feel fulfilled while providing value to you.
5. How do you choose what to write about?
Think about which major area of your life can add value to others. You can have a niche blog — cooking, mom life, travel. You can write solely about one thing or mix several topics that make sense to you. For me, everything related to digital business, tech, and AI fits, and that’s my main niche. But I can also occasionally chat about how I organize my routine to write, activities I do to keep my baby entertained while I work, or inspiring places to visit. Simple things that seem obvious to you might be questions for someone else. Those recipes with your special twist, travel tips, or fun games for kids — see how what you do can be helpful and interesting! Turning that into a blog post is easy when you know the message you want to convey.
6. Creative Writing, AI Writing, or a Mix?
Here’s where things get really interesting! You have the freedom to choose how you want to approach your writing. Some days, you might feel inspired to dive into a creative writing flow, pouring out your thoughts and ideas in a way that feels organic and heartfelt. Other times, you might want to leverage AI to help you brainstorm topics or refine your content, making it more engaging and polished. And guess what? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with mixing both approaches!
Think about it: your unique voice is what sets you apart in a sea of content. So, while AI can provide structure and suggestions, it’s your personal touch that will resonate with readers. Share your stories, your struggles, and your victories. Let your personality shine through! By combining your creativity with technology, you can create content that’s not only informative but also deeply relatable. This blend can help you connect with your audience on a personal level, making them feel like they’re part of your journey. So, embrace the tools at your disposal, but never forget that the heart of your blog is YOU!
Conclusion
Starting a blog is an incredible opportunity to share your voice and experiences with the world. By reflecting on your skills, challenges, and what you can teach, you not only get closer to your purpose but also inspire others to do the same. Remember, your authenticity is your greatest asset in a world overflowing with information. So grab that pen or keyboard and start writing your story. The world is waiting for you!
